Wild Rice

I have been reading up on the growing conditions for Wild Rice. I live in Canada, where the climate is great for wild rice, but many parts of the northern U.S. would also be suitable. About cultivated white and brown rice, that I don't know. But with all the rain we're expecting, sounds like it might be something to think about.
